Overcoming to the end (facebook series)

I am at the point of the semester for professors and students where both want the end to come. God promises to the weary and worn out,"When you pass through he waters I will be with you" (Is. 43.2). THE great word here is, "through'. We all will get through whatever we are experiencing. The NEXT great words are, 'WITH YOU'. God has each of us in His field of vision. There are certainly times in all of our lives where we either have papers to write or papers to read. In these times, there is the temptation to not finish our task strongly. We forget the passion by which we started an endeavor. Carl Sanberg once said,"There is an eagle in me that wants to soar, and a hippopotamus in me that wants to wallow in the mud." I do not know about you but, that can describe me. Jesus warned, 'In the world you will have tribulation BUT, I have overcome the world' (Jn. 16.33). Decide today to be the overcomer described in Revelation. Decide to not just get by--DECIDE TODAY to be victorious!
