He said,
"Wait for promised power
it will come.
And when you think you can't go on-
hope will be in the morning sun".
He said,
"Some baptize with water and others
with shallow words;
You, my child, will be my example
leading others onward".
He said,
"Times and dates and reasons why
are not for you to know;
but trust in me and I will show
a more excellent way".
And after he said these things and
taken from our sight
a morning's quiet turned into restless night and
I remembered,
He said,
"I am with you always,
do not fear.
When you feel most alone remember,
I Am here
I Am here,
for you."
