Take me in
Just simply . . . take me in
Draw me close
Take me in
Purely . . .
That's all I want
Into Your heart
Into Your thoughts
Into Your dreams
Into Your laughter
Into belonging
Completely Yours
Take me in
Into the fold . . .
out of the cold
Into swaddling clothes that hold
Your scent
Into the love that You have always meant
to take me in
Just simply . . . take me in
Draw me close
Take me in
Purely . . .
That's all I want
Into Your heart
Into Your thoughts
Into Your dreams
Into Your laughter
Into belonging
Completely Yours
Take me in
Into the fold . . .
out of the cold
Into swaddling clothes that hold
Your scent
Into the love that You have always meant
to take me in

Love this.
Especially this line:
"Into swaddling clothes that hold
Your scent"
ive always been so intrigued when people talk about the scent of the Lord and His kingdom.
The more time we spend "IN" the more His scent will begin to rub off on us... I love it.
Lately, I've been comparing (as a guideline) how I love Jesus and how I love Bill and thinking I need to love each of them in similar ways . . . time, conversation, listening, dreaming, complimenting, working together . . . and I thought about how I like to put on one of Bill's big sweaters 'cause they're cozy but also because you smell the one you love. I'm with you, I want the scent of Jesus to be all over me. Be blessed with a smelly-good day! Kris
