Beyond what I can do (facebook series)

Tonight I am dreaming about what God did with the developing Chattanooga Dream. I got a phone call about incoming supplies for the poor and forgotten in our city. We will hand out blankets and water in a few days. This unexpected provision came with the words from the donor, "God knows you are a smart man and a good communicator Bill, BUT (there always seems to be a but with God, ever notice that?)...God is going to allow you to come to the end of your well thought out plans so God can show you what He can do". I was pretty convicted when I was challenged this way. It made me realize I had been trying to do alot of this under my own power. Even our purest plans need to be led and orchestrated by God. In order for a orchestra conductor to lead their orchestra they must turn their backs on a large crowd. Trying to make a decision right now? Invite God to lead you. Turn your back on the larger popular vote around you--let God show up and off off!! Be blessed.
