The New Year's Hope (facebook series)

When greeting people on New Years day I say, "Have a New Year". When I look back to '07 I think of choices I made or did not make/pain/people/challenges-- all of which bring a landslide of emotions..can you relate to my landslide? However, this morning I am thinking of a new year. The number "8" (as in, 2008) symbolizes new beginnings, sacrifice(cost) and covenant. My encouragement to you friend is that your '08 brings a new beginning. But you must know something new nearly always "costs" and, if your "something new" is bigger than you..you will need to include others to accomplish your goal. For those in sports there is the regular season and the post season. For older people (eek, like myself?) there is the first half (of life) and the second half. Let 08 be the beginning of your second half. A final idea: go to Youtube and listen to the video of Scarecrow's Dream..even scarecrows dream..so begin dreaming today!!
