Running Into God (Day 2 of 4--facebook series)

Day two: "Running INTO God". Yes you heard me right, "You can run from God, successfully, for a short amount of time" BUT...you will experience storms, loss and unaccounted detours that leave you in the dark. God will show up in any life that has told God, " get the *&%#< out of my life". When any lost person asks God for help, God will answer BUT (there's that but again) you will find life can get worse before it gets better (read Jonah 2). You will also find God likes desperate prayers, like, "Help". Jonah, like you and me, had to hit his bottom before God would act. I think God is waiting for us to get to the bottom of our great ideas, talents or manipulations. Once we "hit our bottom" and prayed desperate prayers, God will respond. One last idea, Jonah's freedom from his Whale-o-gram came because Jonah remembered better days in his life and, THANKED GOD for those times. Caught in a dark day? PRAY and REMEMBER brighter days...and thats all i have to say about that.
